For over 90 years, Troop 61 has been providing the finest program for boys in the nation's capital. We strive to capitalize on the wealth of opportunities available in the area by exposing our scouts to American history, government, international embassies, national parks and more throughout our program. The Troop is comprised of boys from schools throughout the Washington, D.C. metro area, and is non-denominational.

The Troopalt meets every Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. during the school year and once a month we go camping.  We meet at the Palisades Community Church, 5200 Cathedral Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C.

You may recognize some of the boys from various community events (volunteering at the Capitol, leading the 4th of July Parade, conducting Eagle Projects, assisting with community events).  You will certainly be able to identify the boys as a group that is constantly having fun, playing games, camping, hiking, and maturing together as young men.
